Energy Optimisation with the new NE300 NESTRO vacuum dust separator

Even before LIGNA 2009, NESTRO and HOMAG in cooperation with the Rosenheim University of Applied Sciences determined and documented the air volume requirements and resistance of HOMAG edge gluing systems in a series of tests.
Based on these measurements and the operating requirements, NESTRO developed an energy-optimised extraction solution for edge processing that was presented at LIGNA in comparison to conventional solutions.

The development of innovative, energy-optimised extraction and filter solutions was also decisive for the design of the powerful new type “NE300” series of mobile dust separators.
This trade fair premiere was presented at the NESTRO exhibition stand (hall 10, exhibition stand no. 311) in actual operation, and also in a daily live presentation as part of the “vector” action forum of the VDMA (hall 11, exhibition stand no. 119).
NESTRO vacuum dust separator NE300
The new NESTRO mobile deduster offers several unique features. The dust-air mix is suctioned into a side duct before reaching the filter unit, resulting in much more effective separation of the material into the collection vessels with a capacity of nearly 500l. This means the amount of residual dust that reaches the filter hose section is significantly reduced compared to conventional systems.
Another advantage is the extremely low resistance of the NE300, notwithstanding the compact design which is ideal for installation in work rooms. Thanks to the design that is optimised for air flow, NESTRO brings the performance of the deduster where it is needed: to the machine!
The large filter surface area (nearly 32m²) also permits an air volume of up to 6,000m³/h. This means extraction for up to four standard wood processing machines is possible in parallel operation. The NE300 is also perfect for extraction on a panel saw or CNC processing centre as a standalone solution.
The NE300 mobile dust speparator is available with motor-driven, electrical-pneumatic or jet dedusting (compressed air impulses). It is also available with a fire water connection or powder extinguishing system.
The powerful new mobile deduster was received with great interest by the trade fair audience at the NESTRO exhibition stand in hall 10 and in the course of live demonstrations as part of the “vector” action forum of the VDMA.
