NESTRO Lufttechnik GmbH presented on the IFAT in Munich (30.5. - 3.6.) components for wind sifting, separation and filtering for the disposal and recycling industry in a compact system design. Especially the 3-fraction-sifter drew the attention of many visitors. This wind sifter generated three material fractions of different weight in only one step: Extraneous material (in practice, e.g., glass) on the one hand, PET bottles on the other hand and labels, foils and paper - which were separated at atmospheric pressure - the third one. The classifier featured recirculated-air operation; the surplus air passing the separator was finally filtered in a deduster NE 250 JET at the end of the process.
